Don’t get us wrong. We enjoy some “type II fun” just as much as the next masochist. But, fun doesn’t always have to be a near death experience. Which is why we’ve gone back to the drawing board on one of our most popular ski designs. Our goal? Shed some serious weight.
Introducing the Voile Hyper V6.
A super light, paulownia wood, core and twice the amount of carbon fiber provide the weight savings. But, that’s just half the battle. A Voilé ski must be durable too. So, we added re-enforcement to the mountings areas. Even with the 13%-15% weight savings, you still get the downhill performance of our original Voile V6. It’s quick to rise, even in the lightest powder—thanks to the tapered shape and Voilé Hybrid Rocker profile. The tight turning radius and shorter running length allows effortless transfer from edge-to-edge but won’t leave you puckered when holding an edge is critical. So go ahead, have some fun and remember: you can always go for a couple more laps, if you need more punishment.

How do you improve upon a 5 year-old, award-hogging backcountry ski design?
You make it lighter.
Introducing the Voile Hyper V8. The beloved shape and camber profile remain unchanged, but the rest of the ski has been overhauled. Starting with the core, we switched to paulownia wood from aspen. We’ve doubled the amount of carbon fiber and re-enforced the binding mounts to account for the lighter core. Finally, it’s all wrapped up in a sharp new graphic made from the most durable and snow/ice-phobic topsheet material we use.
You still get the irony-filled performance of the original Voile V8: Brawny, yet agile—fat, but featherweight. It has the width to float the deepest powder—yet remains quick edge-to-edge for all those non-powder days. It maintains a high fun-factor even in less than perfect conditions. It’s all of those things—just much lighter.
The Hyper V8 is a culmination of little changes to create a brand new award-winning high-performance ski. Same… but different… and still awesome.

Ski hard - walk easy. The HOJI FREE brings free touring to a new level with a greater stiffness and a tighter fit. Compatible with Tour frame bindings. SIDAS Liner - Last width 102mm - Flex 130
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
In contrast to the Hoji Pro Tour, the Hoji Free is also compatible with touring frame bindings. With its increased rigidity, thanks to a unique Grilamid material with fibreglass, and its progressive flex of 130, the Hoji Free possesses all of the characteristics to deliver the best power transfer and top downhill performance. With a last width of 102 mm, three micro-adjustable buckles and the Ultra Lock Strap, the foot sits ideally positioned. In downhill mode, the Hoji Free locks out at a forward lean of 17 degrees thanks to a spoiler at the cuff and thus offers a comfortable, yet still athletic and controlled ski position – be it to press, carve or slash. On the ascent, free tourers also get extra benefits: The V-shaped tongue and a cuff rotation of 55 degrees means maximum freedom of movement, flexibility and comfort. This enables a natural, energy-saving walking motion even on very steep terrain. With its light weight of just 1,550 grams, a few extra metres of extra vertical vert won’t be an issue for the Hoji Free since you’ll still have enough strength left to enjoy a well-earned descent. One special feature of the Hoji Free is the new thermo-mouldable Hoji Free Liner by footbed, boot-fitting and foot specialty brand Sidas. This will be exclusively available in the coming season in the DYNAFIT Hoji Free. This liner can be custom-moulded to fit your foot and offers the best-possible climbing performance as well as on the descent. It is impressive with its lightness and comfort, and it positions and firmly cradles the foot with precision and security. These characteristics make the liner the first choice for the Hoji Free and underscores the unique selling point on the market of this free touring boot. To ensure ski tourers can approach the perfect line over rocks and icy flanks, the Hoji Free comes equipped with the POMOCA Free Sole. This sole has impressive grip and optimal hold when walking out of the binding and at the same time is especially sturdy and long-lasting. Thanks to the toe lug the ski touring boot is compatible with fully automatic crampons. Last but not least, the Hoji Free is also equipped with the proven Quick Step-In insert for easier entry into the frameless tech binding even on rougher terrain. The Hoji Free, just like other models in the Hoji family, is made completely in Italy. Ski hard & walk easy – one move to switch.

HOJI PU
A new member for the HOJI family: intuitive closure system for the conservative target user but the same toplevel skiability.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A new member of the HOJI Family: HOJI PU. Just like the HOJI PRO TOUR, the HOJI PU boasts not only the Dynafit-patented Speed Nose and Master Step inserts, but also a 3-buckle system. The significant difference is in the closure system: The HOJI PU does not come with the patented HOJI LOCK System, but with what we call the HOJI Single Lock System. That means the strap is not connected to the rear lever and thus must be latched separately to switch to downhill mode. An additional difference is in the materials: The HOJI PU is approximately 100g heavier than the HOJI PRO TOUR and has a slightly lower flex of 110. The last width is 103.5mm. The HOJI PU is compatible with the Cramp-in crampons.

Tour1 Wailer 112 RP2
Touring skis are traditionally 60-80mm toothpicks designed for fast ascents and regimented skin tracks. Well, the best untracked snow is worth walking for. The award-winning Wailer 112 Tour1 weighs less than most significantly narrower traditional fiberglass touring shapes, but still delivers carbons inherent power benefits in deeper and mixed snow. Go strong for days with this legitimately light uphill supercharger, and one of the most soft-snow versatile and easiest skiing shapes in the history of the sport.

Our most trusted board, backed by a cult following as snowboarding's one-answer to all terrain.
From its humble beginnings, innovation has defined the Burton Custom series and set it apart as the most popular, versatile, and mimicked board in snowboarding. Since 1996, this icon has reigned supreme and constantly evolved with a proven formula that combines time-honored design with envelope-pushing ingredients to create a lightweight, poppy, and highly versatile board. Offered in two versions, the precision and stability of the Custom camber is the top choice for many pro riders, while the Custom Flying V Snowboard combines camber's power with the relaxed float of rocker for the best of both worlds.
ABOUT THE GRAPHIC: Feel the PowweeeeRRR! This year's graphic goes big and bold with an iconic lightning bolt. Our team rider, Ben Ferguson, was looking for something that was in your face and a strike of lightning seemed to be just that. What better way to go big and bold on one of the most iconic boards in snowboarding?

This chunder buster loves to go fast, blast, and dodge through the tightest trees. It's a quiver-of-one built with an attention to detail found only in our Family Tree line.
We spend a lot of time poking around Vermont's tight trees and icy lines, so we built the Burton Family Tree Hometown Hero Snowboard to blast through it all. It's a daily driver with a build and materials worthy of the Family Tree name. The directional shape has enough taper to float the nose on deeper days, while the board's directional camber and flex maintain the pop to keep it lively in all conditions and terrain. Strategically placed glass stiffens up the nose and tail for bump-busting power and response.
ABOUT THE GRAPHIC: Once again, we worked with artist Ty Williams, this time on the graphics for the Family Tree lineup. Ty came by Burton HQ in Vermont and painted a sweet mural in our Craig's prototype facility, which our product teams pulled from to create this year's graphics. "I seem to work better in a big hurricane of ink and paint" – Ty Williams

Big float in a small package. This short, wide, and directional shape excels in everything from ankle deep to overhead conditions.
When the snow gods deliver, the Burton Family Tree Pow Wrench Snowboard lights up. The short, floaty shape delivers a quick-turning feel that flows naturally through the trees and comes to life with a loose, floaty ride when the snow really stacks up. Its directional shape and significant taper keep the nose riding high and help power the tail to slash and carve through deep conditions. The Pow Wrench is the only tool you need on a powder day.

The Kilroy crew likes to make it up as they go. At least now they know which end's the nose.
Built for riding any and all terrain, the men's Burton Kilroy Pow Snowboard lets you ride the whole mountain like the natural terrain park that it is. Better yet, it's a board that can be thrashed without worries thanks to a recipe that's high-performance without the price.
ABOUT THE GRAPHIC: We worked closely with the Kilroy Crew to figure out what the kids of today are looking for in a board graphic. Keeping it simple and fresh was the key take away. Put some cool pizzaz in the middle and make it ride like a bat out of hell. Working with Brazilian Street artist Muretz for the Kilroy Twin and rounding out the Kilroy Pow and Directional Boards with artwork by our own in-house designer Jackson Tupper–we did just that.
