$450.00 - $475.00
This jacket is exactly what we think the perfect winter jacket should be. We started with a list of things we didn't like about the current jackets and set out to solve them—and in the process make our best jacket ever.
The first issue to resolve related to moisture management. Even the best of the currently available fabrics provide a good level of breathability but can't keep up with the sweat generated during high-intensity riding. So we invented a double-layer construction that allows you to open an outer wind-protection layer while keeping the insulation layer closed and thereby allowing airflow inside the jacket to evacuate moisture while avoiding direct contact with the skin. On a long climb, we'll completely open the outer layer to allow moisture to escape, and when we start the descent we close the outer layer and are completely dry inside. It works so well that sometimes it feels like magic. New for this year is a softer, warmer 3D insulation-layer fabric that provides better warmth, moisture management, and fit.
Next, we focused on the openings: neck, waist, and, most of all, wrists. The neck comes up high and is shaped to move with you, whether you're standing or in an aero position being a January hero and attacking your mates. For the waist, we've created a stretch layer with a silicone bead that lies flat and completely seals out wind without bunching or riding up. New for this year is a brand-new double-layer wrist opening with an inner layer to go under your glove that seals tight to your wrist, and an outer layer that goes over your glove so that any rain will roll down the outside of the glove and not end up inside.
Of course, the ultimate jacket will also hold up well in wet conditions, so we used GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER fabric along with waterproof seam taping on critical seams around the shoulder. Other seams are hidden out of direct water flow, and the water-repellent treatment on the fabric is sufficient to prevent most moisture from entering. We call it "essentially waterproof," using our own subjective judgment to find a balance between water protection, breathability, and comfort. It doesn't mean that no drop will ever come in, but we do longish rides in real rain and stay completely dry.
All these features make it a favorite of the Team Ineos riders, and the most versatile performance jacket for cold-weather training we've ever created.
- Rain or Shine engineering makes this our best jacket ever for dry conditions while also providing significant rain protection
- GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER 150 fabric for wind protection with high breathability and effective rain protection
- Reduced seaming with seam sealing on shoulders reduces chances for water to enter through stitching
- Double-layer Alpha construction separates the insulating layer from the wind/water barrier to let you better regulate ventilation
- Water-resistant YKK Vislon zipper slides easily for better regulation of airflow
- Raw-edge waist with silicone gripper lies flat and seals out wind
- Double-layer cuff integrates with a glove to prevent cold wind or water from entering at wrist
- Stretch fabrics with advanced patterning make for an excellent close-to-body fit that still accommodates a wide range of body types
- Back ventilation
- 3 rear pockets with reflective laser-cut drain holes
- Zippered secure side pocket for valuables

NOT YOUR OLD-STYLE WIND JACKET
If you're like us, there's a reason you're not using your old-style wind jacket more. With waterproof jackets like the Idro being lighter and more compact than ever, we felt it was time to reinvent a classic. In reality, the Aria Shell Jacket is very different from your flappy old jacket that either didn't protect you or didn't breathe. This jacket is an impossibly light layer that keeps the wind off the front of your body while allowing ample breathability through the mesh side panels. But what you'll really appreciate is how we use the stretch panels in the sides and on the back of the sleeves to make this jacket fit like a second skin: no flapping fabric, no cold air circulating inside the jacket, no more looking like a throwback to the Armstrong era.
This jacket is light and warm enough to wear for the entire ride in mild conditions, but if you do want to take it off it folds into a side panel pocket and stuffs away in minimal space in your pocket or seat bag.
- Ultralight windproof woven microfiber front
- Striped mesh fabric at sides and sleeve back is stretchy to avoid fabric flapping in the wind
- Folds up extremely small
- Rear pocket
- YKK Vislon zipper
- Reflective piping
- 10°-18°C / 50°-65°F
- Weight: 99g

NEAR WEIGHTLESS PROTECTION
We have reinterpreted the classic wind vest to make it as svelte as the rest of your wardrobe. This vest is designed to completely block the wind on the front while allowing ample breathability on the back. The fabrics are so impossibly light that you'll be surprised at how much warmer you stay with this vest over your standard jersey.
But the magic comes from the cut and the stretch fabric on the back, which take up all the loose fabric and make the vest fit close to body without feeling tight or looking ridiculous. When you're ready to take it off, the vest folds into its rear pocket and stashes away, taking up minimal space in your jersey pocket.

This is the Castelli of commute jackets, made to deliver maximum function on the bike and then look great when you get to work.
We wanted a jacket that provides maximum visibility during those night commutes but doesn't look ridiculous with all kinds of silver reflective bands and strips when you get to the office. We applied a nearly unnoticeable reflective print on the entire surface of the jacket. You don't really see it when you're riding in the daytime or wearing the jacket off the bike, but at night the jacket reflects a distinctive pattern to get you noticed.
We didn't stop at the reflectivity. The 20,000 mm water column means no water is coming through, ever. And the 20,000 MVTR breathability means that a good amount of moisture will escape. But it's the ventilation details that make this jacket stand out: there's a gaiter at the waist that you can close to seal out the wind or leave open to let some air come in from the bottom to keep you cooler. This inner gaiter allows us to make a jacket that hangs straight at the bottom — a much cleaner and more refined look than a jacket with wrinkles from an internal elastic.
- Castelli-exclusive 3-layer allover reflex fabric with 20,000 mm water column waterproofing and 20,000 MVTR breathability
- Taped seams for fully waterproof construction
- Cut to fit over normal clothes, longer in front and back for extra coverage
- No-sew bottom hem for very clean look
- No-sew external zipper flap
- Inner gaiter can be closed to seal out drafts or left open for ventilation
- Velcro wrist closure to effectively seal against gloves

$155.00
Just like the name says, we wanted to create the ideal simple emergency rain jacket. We made it completely waterproof and compact, and, as you'd expect from Castelli, we also gave it an amazing on-bike fit, yet it's still roomy enough to fit over a Gabba.
It has all the trappings of a performance rain jacket, with the waterproof zipper, long tail, long sleeves, and wrist closures that can go over gloves, yet we knew you wouldn't want to break the bank with it, so the only real compromise compared to our top-of-the-line offerings is in breathability.
We kept the styling toned down and added a bright colorway in Fiery Red so that you can easily use this as a commute jacket and still look great when you get to the office. If you're going to wear it over office attire you may want to go up one size.
- Deluge Light 2.5-layer waterproof fabric keeps rain off with 10,000 mm water column
- Slight amount of stretch for excellent fit in riding position
- Folds into half a jersey pocket for emergency situations
- Stuff pocket integrated into mesh vent at top of back
- Waterproof zipper and contrast seam sealing keep water out
- 360° reflectivity

This no-fuss jersey is made to do exactly what a thermal jersey needs to do: keep you warm and dry. Our Warmer fabric is excellent for cool days thanks to the high-loft fleece inside and the exceptional wicking. This jersey works well on its own, or you can pair it up with a Perfetto Vest to go to colder conditions while keeping your core warm. We’ve paid attention to getting the details right, like the spacious rear pockets and the high collar with our Zen neck flap to prevent the easy-sliding YKK zipper from rubbing on your neck.
- Made from 100% polyester fleece for extra warmth and wicking
- Zen collar protects neck from zipper
- Easy-sliding YKK Vislon zipper
- 3 rear pockets with reflective tabs
- 13°-20°C / 55°-68°F

If you're looking for just one jacket to do it all, start here. We used our lightest GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER three-layer stretch fabric, which makes it great for milder conditions, and the stretch gives it a great fit. It's the same outer fabric as we use for our Alpha RoS 2 Jacket, called The benchmark in how the best winter jackets should perform" by Cyclingnews.com, but the Go Jacket forgoes the Alpha's integrated liner so you can decide how much insulation you need. Add a Flanders Warm base layer and thermal jersey to extend the comfort range to subfreezing temperatures. But the fabric is only the start. We've tailored the fit to be close to body but not too close. It gives a good drape to the jacket, rounded out by details like the no-sew finishing to the hem and the zippered colored front pocket. The hidden internal cuffs are a nice comfort touch, and you'll appreciate how they eliminate drafts from the wrist. There are three pockets on the back, with a large reflective strip stretching across the entire bottom of the pockets for nighttime visibility. Where does this jacket fit in our line? It's similar in warmth to the Perfetto RoS W Long Sleeve, but it has a more tailored and elegant look, with a slightly more relaxed fit, and it's not quite as protective in wet weather.
- Full soft-shell construction with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER 150 keeps cold wind out while offering exceptional breathability
- Excellent stretch with neutral fit for extra comfort
- Stretch panel at wrist
- Zippered front pocket
- YKK Vislon zipper with rubberized zipper pull
- No-sew waist construction for a clean, technical look
- 3 rear pockets
- Large reflective strip across pockets for low-light visibility

This jacket can change the way you ride. It’s so small you’ll find yourself stuffing it in your pocket for rides with even a remote chance of rain, just because it takes up so little space. And you’ll be extending your rides into conditions when rain is in the forecast because you know you’ll be perfectly covered. Using Gore’s newest SHAKEDRY two-layer fabric, we constructed the most minimalistic jacket that still covers your needs. It fits over your jersey and vest. It covers your tail. It has a tall collar. It has a YKK Vislon waterproof zipper. It has reflectivity. But that’s about it. Compared to the Idro Pro jacket, this one is made to go in your pocket for every ride, yet still provide the essential protection when called into duty.
- The lightest Castelli GORE-TEX® Product ever made
- Durably waterproof and long-lasting weather protection backed by the GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY promise
- GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY product technology
- Folds into just half a pocket

$370.00
This jacket is a game changer. To call it a rain jacket is only touching the surface. While it's an outstanding rain jacket, we end up using it 95% of the time in dry conditions because it's so compact that we always have it in our center pocket, ready to put on for a long, cold descent, or to cover up at a coffee stop, or to keep some heat in while waiting for the other guys to show up for the ride.
We named this jacket Idro 3, which at first doesn't say much, but let's break it down.
Idro is Italian for "hydro," meaning having to do with water. Or in this case, keeping water from coming in while letting sweat escape. It does both very, very well. Best we've ever made.
The 3 in the name indicates this is the third iteration of this product, and we're nearing the maximum of what's possible with a shell jacket. There's a big innovation on the back, with a large high-stretch GORE-TEX panel that allows us to give the jacket a trim fit (i.e., no flapping fabric, so you can just ride away from your riding companions), yet the jacket expands to fit around loaded pockets — or to fit normal people with a bit of a gut. Beyond the stretch panel, we've carefully refined the fit, the finishing construction, the large reflective panels, and especially the wrist closures with a new internal gaiter.
We've made this jacket to be as fully featured as possible when you wear it, but it will spend a lot of time in a pocket on those days when it might rain or when you just need it to cover up on long alpine descents. It weighs less than many jerseys and stashes away to occupy only half a jersey pocket.
There is one drawback: the fabric is so lightweight that it is a little bit fragile, so treat it with care. It'll be one of the most important pieces in your cycling wardrobe.
- The lightest and most packable fully waterproof Castelli GORE-TEX jacket
- GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ product technology sheds water yet offers unmatched breathability
- The entire lower back is in GORE-TEX Topo stretch fabric to expand in diameter if you have a few extra winter kilos or full pockets
- Reflective tape on back of both sleeves for high visibility in low-light conditions
- YKK Vislon waterproof zipper slides easily for ventilation adjustments
- Internal wrist gaiter seals wrist and integrates with glove to keep water out
