The Ripley AF is our beloved, category-defying, short-travel, singletrack-scorching Ripley - rendered in aluminum, with more aggressive geometry. All the sizzle and pop of the carbon Ripley, now available as a complete bike at a wallet friendly price.

RIPMO AF
The Ripmo AF (Aluminum Frame) brings the award-winning performance of the carbon Ripmo to a wider, rowdier audience. It’s everything we love from the carbon Ripmo, plus a few tweaks. Best of all, complete bikes start at only $4050
IT’S METAL
Over our long tenure from mountain biking’s awkward adolescence to its current anything-shreddy era, we’ve experimented with steel, aluminum and titanium?—?remember the Bow-Ti, the first superbike? We remember the metal times too, and it feels good to offer a premium ride experience to our broadening family of riders, courtesy of durable, affordable aluminum alloy.
MODERN GEOMETRY
With a steep, 76-degree seat tube angle and a rangy but not stratospheric reach, the Ripmo AF places riders centrally and upright over the bottom bracket. It makes for an efficient position that can go the long haul without placing too much weight on its slack, 64.9-degree headtube angle. A 44mm reduced-offset fork is more surefooted on steep descents and steadies high speeds. Better up, better down.
DW LINK
Since 2005, we’ve partnered with suspension guru Dave Weagle on the dw-link suspension platform. It provides an unparalleled combination of climbing efficiency and downhill performance, which has been proven repeatedly at the highest levels of racing.
COIL COMPATIBLE
The Ripmo AF is compatible with both coil and air shocks due to a more progressive leverage rate. It allows for coil’s linearity to thrive and we spec air shocks with tunes that provide pop without feeling too harsh. On the trail, it gives the suspension a supple feel throughout the entirety of the stroke, enhancing traction no matter how deep you dig.
DVO
Now that we made the frames leverage rate progressive enough for a coil we had to find a coil shock that could handle the increased stress of being driven off of a clevis. The DVO JadeX is up to the challenge so the Ripmo AF comes with custom tuned DVO suspension.
2.6” TIRE CLEARANCE
Ibis helped pioneer the wide rim revolution, which inspired the new crop of wider 2.4”?—?2.6” tires. When paired together, this combo can be run at ultra low pressures which results in elbow-dragging cornering traction without sacrificing straight line speed.
PICK YOUR SIZE
We use words like small, medium, and large to describe our sizing because it’s easy to understand, but our ultra low standovers give you the ability to size your frame based on reach and preference.
$6,731.00 - $7,139.99
The Ripley is our snappy, flickable, playful, fast, lightweight, and versatile 29” trail bike.
Its combination of modern geometry, a stiff lightweight carbon chassis, and 120mm of ultra efficient dw-link travel, means it’s equally happy popping off bonus lines as it is crushing all day epics.
LONGER, SLACKER, STEEPER
With its well balanced modern geometry, the Ripley is ready for any adventure. The long front end, slack head angle, and short rear end gives you the confidence to try new lines, while the steep seat tube angle and shorter offset fork makes it easy to maneuver technical climbs and flowy singletrack.

INTRODUCING THE RIPMO
The love child of aRipley and theMojo HD4, the
all-new Ripmo is a big wheeled slasher that’s
always down for another lap, whether that means
a big climb or a tailgate pad. With a sub six
pound frame and 145mm of efficient dw-link
rear wheel travel (160mm front), this is the most
versatile bike we’ve ever built.
It also marks a dramatic shift in our approach to
geometry. The reach is nearly an inch longer than
the EWS Team winning HD4, with clearance for
a 170mm dropper, and a pedal-friendly 76° seat
tube angle. The end result is a bike that’s ready
to rally, while still maintaining lively handling.
Ticking off the boxes, other features include 2.6”
tire clearance, short chainstays, a threaded BB,
trick internal cable routing and the ability to run
both a piggyback reservoir shock and large
water bottle.

MOJO 3
The Mojo 3 is right at home on any trail, fast climbing and descending. With the dw-link suspension and a super stiff chassis, the Mojo performs way beyond its travel class.
The frame tips the scales at only 5.5 lbs (with shock, size medium) and lets you run a wide variety of tires?—?from 2.25” up to 2.8”?—?for whatever hijinx you might get into.
DW-LINK
The Mojo 3 with dw-link suspension performs beautifully through the mid stroke, remaining smooth and predictable through the entire range of travel all while remaining absurdly efficient. The extra mid stroke support allows a low bottom bracket height for excellent handling without pedal strikes.
