Weighing in at a mere 999 grams, somehow the wizards at Dynafit keeps making boots lighter, more comfortable, and better downhill performers. The boot is comprised of a grilamid lower and a fiberglass titanium upper. Users of the earlier evolutions of the TLT series will note that on the 7, the pins have been moved back 5 mm to make a more natural pivot point as well as making it easier to locate your pin holes. The buckle system has also evolved on this boot, now the upper buckle can link to the mid- foot buckle allowing for ski to walk mode transitions in one "swoop." For those with narrower or colder feet, or those planning a high altitude objective, these are the boots for you. The Expedition Boots come with a Custom Fit liner that are warmer, thicker, and a little bit stiffer.
